I'm not a huge coffee drinker, so I let him choose. I'd never even heard of Zojirushi coffee makers before this, but my husband did a lot of research and read a lot of coffee maker reviews. He knew he wanted something with a thermal carafe to keep the coffee hot for hours without using excess power. The Zojirushi thermal coffee maker seems to work very well, though I don't know much. Simple to use, easy to clean, and the coffee tastes pretty good too. I'm actually drinking more coffee now... not sure if that is good or not!
