I love this Hamilton Beach Coffee Maker simply because it has a removable water tank. It makes a decent cup of coffee.
I always felt that the other coffee makers weren't clean enough, even using the vinegar and water method. The taste of the coffee depends on the individual. I just read about putting a little salt in your coffee grinds before you brew, it is supposed to take away the bitter taste if there is any. I have not tried it yet but I am going to.
This coffee pot is very simple to operate. I used it with a paper filter, but I do prefer the permanent gold filter which I am going to purchase.
