When inserting a T disc into a Tassimo coffee maker, the barcode label of each beverage pod is pre-programmed with its specific precise amount of water, right temperature to be applied, and the correct brewing time. Now, the machine's barcode reader scans the program and follows that infrastructure. Using the inverse flow system, hot water passes through the t disc and into your cup!
