Philips has offered us a machine that can be proud to bear its name, Philips Senseo. A union between Philips (an electronics giant) and Douwe Egbert (master of the pre-measured gourmet coffee pods), Senseo coffee makers are considered to be one of the best coffee makers today.

On February 2001, the Senseo Company was introduced in the Netherlands, followed by Belgium and France, Germany/Austria/Switzerland and Denmark, United Kingdom and the United States, and Australia. As of 2005, Philips has claimed that they were able to sell 10 million Philips Senseo coffee makers and 10 billion Senseo coffee pods.

These single cup pod coffee makers have slowly taken the world by storm and are currently considered one of the best single cup coffee makers. Now, coffee lovers around the world are able to enjoy a cup of coffee using some of the best technology that the market has to offer.

Philips Senseo was able to manufacture two single cup coffee brewers: the original Senseo Coffee Machine (HD7810/65) and a Supreme model (HD7832/55).
