The four main control buttons of the Nespresso automatic espresso maker comprises of the on/off power switch and steaming button on the left of the machine; and the small and large cup brewing buttons on the D290's right side.

By lifting the lever on top of the head, place your desired Nespresso coffee capsule foil side down. After closing the holding lid back, select for the right cup size-- the small cup button can create a 40 ml espresso, while the large cup button makes 110 ml of lungo.
