One:One Melitta Coffee Makers

Have to say, our Melitta coffee maker is such a time saver! We love it.

I bought the One:One Melitta single serve coffee maker because I like to offer my guests coffee to drink, but we have no coffee drinkers in our home.

I'd end up buying the smallest amount of coffee and end up throwing most of it away; then running out to get more coffee when I knew guests were coming!

The One:One Melitta coffee maker is great because I can have a variety of sealed coffees on hand at all times knowing they'll still be fresh when I open them.

My problem is this - Melitta used to offer Cooper's Chai Tea pods in addition to their green tea pods. I've tried to locate the Chai, but it seems it is no longer being made for the single serve coffee makers.

Does anyone have information on the best tea format for making my own tea pods? I'm assuming that since a finer grind of coffee works best for the Melitta single serve coffee makers, a similar size of tea would work best, too.

I've tried just using a regular tea bag in the Melitta machine, but the brew is too weak. Any ideas if grinding the tea finer before podding it would brew a better cup?

Chai Tea Pods for your Melitta Coffee Maker
by: Billy from CoffeeMakers411

Hi there,

Thanks for your review on the One:One Melitta coffee maker.

I had a look around several of our favorite online stores to try find your beloved Cooper's Chai Tea Pods, but as you said, it seems to be discontinued. I HATE it when that happens...

I would recommend looking at the Organa Chai Tea Pods as an option for the short term.

As for making your own Chai Tea Pods; having not made any tea pods myself - not much of a tea drinker sorry - I don't want to give you any advice. If I were you though, I would sacrifice one of your current chai tea pods to find out how much tea to put in a 'DIY' Pod, and also to look at how fine it has been cut.

Hope this helps.

Billy
