My KitchenAid Coffee Maker Review: KCM511OB Java Studio. The brew is perfect. The coffee always tastes rich and has a nice flavor to it. Coffee maker is easy to use. I usually program it for 1-4 Cup Setting and it works fine.

PRO'S:

  • My favourite function is, "it beeps" when coffee is done.
  • The coffee brew from my KitchenAid coffee maker is fantastic.
  • Coffee is rich and good tasting.

    CON'S:
    I have a problem with the hot plate. It doesn't keep the coffee hot enough for a longer period of time i.e. coffee stays hot for about 30-40 minutes and then the temperature changes to warm - does not stay hot enough.

    Other Comments:
    Price wise, I'd say it is reasonable. I think I purchased it for about $70 (not sure about exact price though). Design wise, I'd say KitchenAid makes better designs of their other products but their coffee makers (including KitchenAid KCM511OB) are not sleek and modern looking compared to Cuisinart Coffee Makers.

    Overall, I am happy with my coffee maker, particularly when I have guests and I need to make about 10 cups at a time.

    Summed up:
    Again, I can't keep the coffee hot enough for longer period of time. So I'd give it 3.5 out of 5 stars.
