During my warranty period, I began having a problem with half cups, no cups and incredible noise.

I had been descaling religiously since it's purchase as I am an old woman and do understand that ANY coffee pot needs this process. I've purchased a lot of coffee makers in my lifetime so I realize that instructions for use are there for a reason.

After speaking with "MIKE" at Keurig about my problem, I was intimidated into believing that everything that was wrong with my pot, was my fault.

You know how after you hang up from a conversation you say to yourself, "wow, what just happened?" I had gone step by step with this character and quite possibly things didn't get better because I wasn't standing on the right foot. That is how ridiculous this gets.

Two months later I call about the same issue as it was never remedied the first service call but I hoped I would get a different technician. No such luck, I got Mike again. Fast talking, clairvoyant, condescending, and always right, MIKE.

Again, I am the fool who doesn't know how to descale a pot, even standing on the correct foot while reading the instructions. My fault again.



The third service call amounted to the conclusion that "your pot is out of warranty so I can sell you a new one for $100 which is a substantial discount". Thanks but no thanks.

After telling my tale to potential Keurig clients who were friends of mine, they recommended I call Keurig and complain about my experience (during the warranty period)and dis-satisfaction. Guess who I got on the phone? Mike's cloned sister.

Again all my fault, not standing on the right foot, not holding my mouth in the correct position, whatever I have done, it was wrong. Even if I had followed the directions word-for-word, I wasn't holding the booklet properly.

This kind of condescension doesn't work well with my relationship with Keurig. I am sorry to say that their customer service serves nobody but Keurig.

So buyer beware, we are all idiots except those employed by Keurig. They are there to sell brewers, not take care of those who already own them.

My brewer did the same thing even though I descaled it many times. the help was fine, but it didn't work. Same Deal $100.00 for a new one. I just want mine fixed.

Not satistied with this product especially when i paid so much for it.

When I received mine, it was good from day one except for one thing, when it brewed, it leaked a little bit of water when it was brewing.

I dealt with the problem until I heard that the rubber O ring that connects to the top of the K Cup was probably not seating correctly.

I reached up and pulled the O ring down where it now connects to the K Cup and no more leaking.

I love my Keurig and glad I hadn't had to talk to CS if they are the way you say they are.

Also, I use nothing but purified water which makes it taste better and also keeps the hard water build up out.

Hope this helps someone in need

Try the Cuisinart

I just bought a Cuisinart k cup brewer at Sams having been through 2 Keurigs in 18 months. The first one stopped brewing after 6 months and the second which Sams replaced for us at the store lasted a year and lost power :( Should have bought the warranty for ten bucks!

The Cuisinart is made with the exact same technology as Keurig but the warranty is 3 years and I bought an additional 2 years for 20 bucks through Sams Club! If you want to save the 30 bucks and buy the Keurig, spend the 10 bucks on the warranty.

For the best results for both brewers keep a paperclip handy as coffee residue builds up in the spout that punctures the bottom of the k cup and use purified, soft-water.
