Just an additional comment . . . For the Keurig Coffee Maker Saga
by h2opolomama
However in all of the discussions and boards I have read, a couple of things have resonated strongly about this subject. First, that the owner should be be prepared to do their own maintenance and if said maintenance is done improperly, you -the owner- are responsible for the disrepair. I don't recall anywhere in the manual that required me to insert pins into the product. Secondly, that Keurig is so surprised when someone complains. I don't know ONE Keurig owner that hasn't had to call customer service for some issue. I was visiting Macy's a couple months back and the Keurig representative was in store demonstrating the Keurig coffee maker. After the crowd left and I got my sample of coffee, she asked me just how delicious the coffee was and when we would want to upgrade to the Keurig. When I told her how disappointed I was with the futile function and customer service, she was wide eyed and shocked. She said she had NEVER heard ANYONE have a problem with their maker. I told her to look on the internet then start engaging a dialog with Mike in customer service. Bottom line here is to buy your product at Costco, and if you have a problem they would be happy to refund your money. Lesson learned.
