Coffee maker review of Jura Impressa F50. I have owned a Jura Impressa F 50 coffee maker for about three years now.

I bought it in Haarlem, the Netherlands, where I paid a whopping 1.000 euro for it. The main reason I bought this coffee machine, are the looks!

It's robust, black and it has a little blue light that shines in the coffee cups. And of course the brand Jura is from Switzerland, so it ought to be indestructible.

Unfortunately it has been broken once, but was repaired without any cost by Jura.

I love this coffeemaker! It makes coffee fast, at any time. In the morning you only have to switch it on, and it’s ready to make you a cup of fresh coffee. I only use the Jura F50 to make espresso’s. I have never ever used it to make cappuccino’s.

The Jura Impressa F50 coffeemaker comes with a very good and compact manual in multiple languages. The manual has very clear instructions and good photographs.

Be advised to keep this manual well saved. Every now and then the machine asks you to do certain things, and you will need the manual.

The Impressa F50 Jura coffee maker is very easy to operate - I’ve even taught my children to operate it.

What I do not like about my Jura Impressa F 50 coffee maker is the cleaning. Every 2 weeks or so I have to clean it thoroughly and the display on the machine give me assignments that have to be done.

These assignment are far too direct......"Do this, do that, clean this, replace that." The machine is not very friendly in this way.

And the water tank is a little bit small. You do have to put water in it on a daily basis. The same goes for the holder of the coffee beans. It is OK, but the coffee bean holder could be bigger.

Overall, the Jura Impressa F50 coffee maker is a great little machine. At the time I thought it was very expensive, but it is worth every euro. I would buy another/new Jura within seconds!!!
