The Keurig Single Serve Brewing system - Model B66 - is attractive with a chrome accent finish, a blue light which illuminates the water chamber, and complimentary blue LCD digital display. This Keurig coffee maker is not only attractive, but from the first time its turned on, it warms the water in the chamber in just a couple of minutes and you are ready to make cup after cup of freshly brewed coffee at your desire.

There are so many K-cup flavor choices for this single cup coffee maker - flavored, strong, mild, decaf, there are also teas and hot chocolates! It honestly is just the best coffee maker for us! There’s something for everyone in the family and it’s a real crowd pleaser during the holidays and it much easier than having to brew a pot of regular coffee and another one of decaf!

The B66 Keurig should carry a warning that it is addictive and there is a great danger to becoming a real coffee snob! The B66 model allows the choice of three different sizes, but even the largest fits in the average large mug.

The only real downfall is that you have to remember to buy more K-Cups or you’ll have a houseful of grouchy people. There are a tremendous variety not only of flavors and strengths but also brands of K-cups and seemingly more coming out every month or two. They can be bought online, at 'Bed, Bath and Beyond', at some of the specialty kitchen stores, and some grocery stores are carrying them as well. There’s a rumor that Target is now carrying them. They also can be purchased in larger quantities at BJ's and other wholesale clubs. The only drawback to that is that you do have to buy all the same flavor.

If everyone in your house drinks coffee, or if you drink more than a pot a day, it can be more expensive to buy coffee this way. They do sell a device that you can fill with your own ground coffee, so if you prefer a certain coffee or if you run out of K-cups it is a good alternative.

The Keurig B66 single cup coffee maker is also a convenient source of hot water for instant oatmeal, soups or anything else you need hot water for.

Overall, the pros greatly outweigh the cons.

Pros: Anytime you desire you can have in a freshly brewed cup, size and concentration of your choosing, of coffee or other hot beverage of your choosing in just a few seconds.

Cons: You have to keep an adequate supply of K-cups or buy the adapter to use your own coffee. K-cups are more expensive serving for serving than most coffee bought in traditional coffee cans or pouches.

All-in-all the B66 gets a huge thumbs up from our household!
