CoffeeMakers411 Coffee InterviewsBranch out, up-skill, life is about learning... This section of CoffeeMakers411 is all about other people. People who are adding to the wonders of the coffee industry. Whether by innovative new products, coffee roasting or blending techniques, environmental advances... We hope to bring new information to your world by interviewing some really neat people. As a self-proclaimed coffee addict, I love learning about new coffees. Finding our what makes the enigmatic Kopi Luwak coffee bean so... interesting! Or the famous Hawaiian coffee belt that helps us all enjoy 100% Kona coffee pods at home or work... There are a lot of what I call 'movers and shakers' in the coffee industry. People or companies who are by their efforts opening up the amazing world of coffee to anyone whose interested. I remember growing up thinking 'coffee is coffee'... like 'wine is wine'. But as I grew, I realized the HUGE amount of variety available to the discerning coffee drinker. And thanks to these people it's getting easier and easier for everyone to enjoy premium coffee. A company like Green Mountain Coffee who through their incredibly popular Keurig K-cups, have been able to offer gourmet coffee pods like the Jamaican Blue Mountain variety. Or the much less known coffee farm estates like Blue Horse Kona Coffee who produce what I consider to be one of the most gorgeous coffee beans I've ever tried - the elusive 100% Kona Peaberry. We will try to add fresh new interviews as often as possible, so check back often, subscribe to our RSS feed, or join our mailing list, and we'll keep you up to date! CoffeeMakers411 Coffee InterviewsBlue Horse Kona CoffeeThe first coffee interview we have is with Joachim Oster from Blue Horse Kona Coffee. Born from the stunning Kona coffee belt on the Island of Hawaii, Blue Horse Kona Coffee is a small family coffee farm. Shade grown, hand picked and sorted, freshly roasted and shipped within just a couple of days of roasting to maximize freshness - these coffee beans are simply amazing! If you've never experienced true 100% Kona coffee before, I highly recommend you start here. And if you are already familiar with the full-bodied complexities of Kona coffee, you could take it to the next level and try Blue Horse's 100% Kona Peaberry Enough from me... lets turn it over to the professionals eh?
