Our Bunn Home Coffee Brewer review: Time is always in short supply around my house, especially mornings, when getting everything and everyone ready to go on time is first priority. There is no time to wait on anything, including waiting on the coffee maker to brew the coffee.

My Bunn coffee maker is so fast it’s unbelievable! It comes with a plastic measuring container to use to pour in the water, instead of using the carafe. The reason for this is because as you begin to pour the cold water in the top, the piping hot coffee starts to fill the glass carafe. No lag time or waiting.

It has an internal reservoir that keeps the water hot and ready at a moments notice. No standing around waiting for it to make coffee, it’s ready before I am! I have the black one with the chrome pillar, which gives it a contemporary look. And even though it’s a 10 cup brewer, it doesn’t take up much space on my countertop.

As for the things I don’t like about my coffee maker, one thing comes to mind immediately. That would be also one of the main reasons why I love it. Since it starts coming out of the machine as fast as you pour it in, if a friend is making the coffee and fills the carafe with water, as you would do with other coffee machines, it makes a huge mess, pouring out of the spout onto the warmer and the counter. You must have the carafe under the spout before you start pouring in the water! That’s why it comes with a plastic water pitcher for filling the machine. If it simply had a shutoff valve to momentarily stop the flow of hot coffee, if the carafe were not in place, that would be my only suggestion.

It also is lacking in electronic features that some coffee makers are equipped with, but I don’t see the need for them. Good coffee, faster than you can imagine. What more could you want? And my brewer is well past it’s three-year warranty period, and I’ve had no problems at all.

Summing up about Bunn-o-Matic
I won’t even consider buying another brand of coffee machine. And should this one decide that eight years and counting is enough, you can bet your bottom dollar, I’ll buy a Bunn-O-Matic brand to replace it. I recommend a Bunn machine to anyone who doesn’t like to wait, even on their morning coffee.
