Bunn BTX Decanter Home Brewer - LEAKING (and will not work with well water)

PROBLEM # 1 My first disappointment was the Bunn Coffee pot didn't work with well water. Water poured all over. I didn't want to be running out every week to buy special bottled water, so I wrote to Bunn about the problem. How this problem was resolved: Bunn sent a special "Spout" for well water, that I switched with the original spout, and this solved the problem. However, I was not able to use my new coffee pot until the new spout came in mail (two weeks)! I suggest Bunn include both spouts, which you can attach and use according to the type of water you have in your home. PROBLEM #2 - and much more frustrating! Our decanter always leaked! When I wrote to Bunn, they told me it was because of buildup and not cleaned properly! However, when Bunn sent me a new decanter, it also leaked. I had to use tons of paper towels when ever I poured coffee from the decanter to prevent burning myself! Bunn still refused to reimburse me or replace my coffee pot. I would have settled for a different and less expensive Bunn coffee pot (Bunn coffee pot with Glass decanter for $99.00)... but I was offered no compensation for my purchase! This is a great coffee mug for the person who walks around with their coffee... you can even take it for a walk up the street, or for a drive in your car!
