Bunn BTX 10 Cup Thermal Coffee Maker

We have always used a Bunn Coffee Maker in our house, and when we bought our latest edition, we were hoping the thermal carafe would mean longer lasting, fresh coffee.

Unfortunately, we were a little dissapointed with this Bunn coffee machine.

Firstly, I don't think the coffee is hot enough. We pour boiling water into the carafe before we start, to preheat the carafe. This bugs me!

Second, the carafe leaks! No joke... I couldn't believe it. We have to pour our coffee over the sink, otherwise the carafe leaks coffee all over the place.

Third problem we found is one common with all our other Bunn Coffee Makers. If you don't buy the Bunn paper coffee filters, the water and coffee splashes all over the place. So, you have to buy the Bunn coffee filters which are a bit harder to locate. They are taller than standard coffee filters.

All in all, we still love our Bunn coffee makers, because of the quality of the coffee, which really is good. But for the extra money we payed to buy a Bunn, I would of liked these machines to perform a little better!
