The SDC850 model has larger LCD display than the previous ones.
The hanging carafe can be removed for even more space on the counter.
Thermal carafe keeps coffee warm for extended period of time.
A nice bright blue LED lets you know it is brewing.
Great coffeemaker for small kitchens!
The thermal carafe doesn't dribble and keeps the coffee hot for 4 hours and warm all day.
Easy to install.
Con's
Some parts are made of plastic and easily breaks.
The template doesn't have the measurements that the directions say it does.
Hard to install and manual instructions are complicated.
I attempt to pull out the filter basket and it won't come out.
Coffee leaks from my carafe.
The clock doesn't have a backlight.
Things started out good but after a few months the thing will not take the water.
