I bought two of these 12-Cup KitchenAid coffee makers from Costco and they make great coffee but both died within eight months of the purchase date.

Both times an error message came up on the coffee maker display and they would not work.

Also there were occasions when the coffee would end up all over the counter and not in the pot?????

This was a very frustrating experience, not something you need to happen first thing out of bed.

I hope that KitchenAid has remedied this with their 14 cup coffee maker model.
